My first impression to Yaletown was not about what I saw, but what I felt. I felt young again. Each day after work I would set out on my bike knowing I would get to see something different from the previous ride. I always got to see people and places that I certainly would have missed had I been driving my car. Surrounded by the water I could see all the wonderful restaurants, patios, and people! It was truly refreshing. While I certainly enjoyed the calming affects of cycling, it also provided additional health benefits.
According to all health experts it is extremely important to engage in regular physical activity to maintain health and well being. Cycling is a fabulous exercise as everyone is capable and it does not require a high levels of skill. In fact, many health professionals suggest that cycling is one of the best full body exercises – building muscle tone and strength in all parts of the body
Cycling can be a perfect way to help build stamina for heart health and is an excellent way to burn calories and reduce stress. I hope you enjoyed this blog post and incorporate cycling into your weekly routine just like me!
